Yep that’s right, Nikon have released the specs for the anticipated D90 and the big shock of the show is…MOVIE mode. That’s right, the first DSLR to record moving footage, and at 720p resolution, is here…

That’s according to Nikon themselves who, in a very ‘Lost’ inspired way, answered a question by raising more! For anyone who hasn’t seen it yet…which can’t be many of you by now…over at Nikon Rumours.com there is a scan from the inside of Rangefinder magazine in which Nikon have placed an advert saying ’something BIG is coming…’

I love my 200-400 VR, its a fantastic lens in every respect as opinions everywhere will say. However, one thing that is not mentioned is the standard bag (the CL-L2) is just not designed for carrying all that weight for long periods of time. Buying another bag is one solution but as the bag is custom designed to hold the lens it seems a shame to cast it aside. That’s when a friend stepped in and suggested he could modify it for me at his work.
So lets see whats been done to improve things a little…

When I was taking the shot below I only had my Nikon 200-400 VR with me, which even at 200mm was so long I could only get a section of the scene in frame. So, to solve the problem, I took twelve shots and stitched them together! Lets find out how I turned the mess below into something worth keeping.
